Care Tips for Glassware
You have chosen high-quality glassware from Villeroy & Boch. To ensure long-lasting brilliance and clarity of your glasses, we recommend the following care instructions.
Cleaning in the Dishwasher
Dishwasher-safe glasses can be cleaned conveniently – with the right handling:
• Rinse off coarse residues with clear water beforehand (especially wine)
• Arrange glasses so they do not touch – protection against scratches and breakage
• Always place them in the upper rack
• Do not place tall glasses in the corners to ensure water reaches all surfaces
• Select a gentle or glass program with a low temperature
• Do not overload the dishwasher; ensure spray arms can move freely
• Use only recommended amounts of detergent, rinse aid, and salt
• Pay attention to the correct water hardness – use softening if necessary
• Open the dishwasher briefly after the cycle to allow moisture to escape
• Hold glasses by the stem or base when removing them

Hand Washing
For delicate glasses, hand washing is the best option:
