The "Brindille" - the fine, blue little flower adorns the first tableware series of Villeroy & Boch for almost 250 years. It was in a small ceramics factory in Luxemburg in 1770 that the venerable Pierre-Joseph Boch, with his artistic talent, conjured up the delicate blue twig on his high-quality crockery and refined it with it. I wonder if he had any idea that this filigree decorative element would still adorn the Alt Luxemburg service after almost 250 years and still delight tableware lovers worldwide?
